December started with a very exciting doctor's appointment. Carli got her ears pierced!
Fish face!
Milo turned 7 and had a nature camp birthday party. He read everyone in with the scout oath and planned the trailblazing activity himself.
Christmas greetings this year got a little political... All eyes were on Georgia and our friends and family let us know it.
Sunday afternoon relaxing.
This was the first year we went to the gingerbread house competition in Savannah. It was different than they usually do it and it was a fun treasure hunt all over downtown to find them in different stores.
We also found plenty of other things to look at while we were there.
And made the obligatory trip to the gems and mineral store for Janie.
Logan made several fun custom orders for friends along with his regular Etsy orders.
LOVE our tradition of driving through TMT Farms light display.
Logan got a fun, meaningful gift from one of his students. (You'd have to ask him about the nerdy inside joke behind it...)
I got sick of the clicking sound every time I played the piano so I decided to take care of it myself.
Speaking of treasure hunts, this is what came out from between the keys.
And you could make a preschool lesson from what had been stuffed through the cover.
Our pecan trees produced this year! It was very exciting... for the first few hours. Then it just became tedious trying to get the dang things out of the shells. But, we still used them in several delicious holiday dishes.
Speaking of delicious holiday dishes, I got the cooking and baking bug big time this holiday season. It was fun to do a few extra fancy meals and treats.
I even opted to go with real gingerbread for our houses this year. Boy, did it make the house smell good! It was a fun way to do it, but I'm not sure we won't be going back to graham cracker houses next year.
I guess we should have named him Oscar. (Don't worry, the trash can was brand new.)
Man, that hair!
He's official, he has his own t-shirts now!
Unfortunately, the holidays had a little trauma too. Poor little guy fell out of bed and smacked his head on the bedside table. Spent a couple of hours in the emergency room worried about a concussion. My favorite part of the experience was when Tad (happily watching the Disney channel in the ER bed) turned to me and said he liked being alone with me. This youngest child doesn't get a lot of that, especially with everyone at home with virtual school.
I made these ornaments as gifts for the Primary children.
Brothers in a bubble bath.
Sugar cookies for Santa! (And us.)

Christmas Eve jammies

All Tad wanted for Christmas was candy. And boy did Santa deliver!
Guido Garden lights were beautiful.
