The girls enjoyed a summer downpour.

 The first day of our family reunion we went to the Manti temple. It is where these two were married and it was fun to go with them.

 We went on a beautiful hike to another great waterfall. These three girls sure had fun together.

 Could you ask for a better hiking companion than this? Even if she does take a little more energy than normal...

 The hiking crew. Unfortunately, Papa Tommy stayed back at the cabin to be a mechanic. And Aubrey was busy running the path four times, I think, by the time we all did it once. What a woman!

 We took another hike to the top of the world - it seemed like. This little traveler was tuckered out.

 On the way back we stopped to jump in the pond - or at least some of us.

It was a great time, and as always, I didn't get as many pictures of it as I would have liked.

June

We went on a hike with some friends that took us to a beautiful waterfall.

 Carli's best friend moved away. Carli was really sad to see her go.

 Logan made it to the summit on our ward hike - me and the girls waited a little ways down.

 It was amazingly beautiful and Carli is a little mountain goat of hiker.

Carli had her first day of preschool. There was a summer session and she loved it. She can't wait to go back again in September.

Carli also had her second eye surgery. It went very well. She now only has to see the ophthalmologist every 6 months (before now it's always been every 6 weeks) and only has to patch one hour a day (before now it's been anywhere from 4 hours to full day). We are ecstatic about those results and hope to maintain it. Such a great blessing, especially for me.

The rest of May

After such a wonderful trip, I was certainly excited to get back to my girls.

 I'm so glad they're mine.

Carli had her dance recital. She is a beautiful little dancer.

France Day 13

Versailles

 These pictures make my mouth water. We stood in a fairly long line at a bakery (we knew it must be good since the line went out the door) to get these croissants still warm! Wow, were they good. Sure wish I could get them this good here.

I loved every minute of this trip. It was a perfect time for us to go and I learned so much. More than that, I love this man. And I love him all the more after this amazing trip. We feel so lucky to have had this once-in-a-lifetime experience and will be such a bright memory.
