December 2016

Carli really is so good at caring for babies. We babysit these little girls pretty often, but this little one always misses her mama. Carli snuggled her right in and she fell asleep. She's got the knack!

Carli had a PJ and pizza party for her birthday. She has some great friends, but the quiet after the party was definitely appreciated. ☺

Christmas time is our favorite. We always plan a tradition a day. One of the best is gingerbread houses.

Of course, everyone has a turn putting the angel on top of the tree.

I played with the Minnesota Mormon Chorale and Orchestra for the Christmas concert for the second time. It was a great experience where I met great friends and loved playing with an amazing group of musicians.

Oh, just a typical taking-the-girls-to-school outfit.

In the frigid temperatures.

Janie wrote this sweet story about her camping trip with her Dad.

After a couple of months of applications, resume editing, essay-writing, etc. Logan had several interviews all over the place. Yep, he's going to be done with this whole PhD thing! Exciting to be moving forward and thinking about what's next for us.

Another trip to Macy's Santaland. This time with 4 kids.

Christmas jammies!

In an effort to cross some things off our MN bucket list, Logan got tickets to a Gopher's Hockey game for Christmas. It was fun being immersed in that very unique Minnesota culture for the evening, goalie-taunting and all. ("Wildung is a great big sieve, doo dah, doo dah...)

Christmas was wonderfully relaxing at home this year. Nothing better than hanging out with these 5 people I get to call family!
