On a nicer day in February (luckily for us, MN favored us with a fairly mild winter as our last one here) we went to the MN zoo. Lots to see and do, including an amazing bird show we all loved. I was just happy the day didn't include Milo taking a swim with the Rays...
Can you guess where Logan was interviewing when he sent this photo to us? He also interviewed in NY, GA and VA, not to mention countless other phone interviews. He was a man on a mission and left no stone unturned when it came to the job-hunt. And, man, do I love him for it!
After receiving offers from Virginia, Georgia, and New York, Logan went to ponder it all at the temple, only to realize his recommend was a few weeks expired. He spent some time walking around it and feeling the Spirit there. I went a few days later and received confirmation that the Lord wants us in Georgia. I am so grateful for this beautiful place of profound peace. The Lord blesses me through my worship there and through the covenants I've made there.
Carli and Janie both played basketball this year and loved it. Carli's team played really well and got 2nd place in the tournament. She has begged me to put her in it again when we move.
This was our third annual Achievement Fair. Janie chose to try making rock candy and watch the crystals grow. It took a few tries, but we ended up with a bit of success. It was a good thing we started early on this project...
The girls dressed up as Hermione and Fancy Nancy for their school's Character Parade. Such beauties!
Janie Lou's teeth started falling like flies, and she lost 3 in one week, with more to come shortly after. This is a cute note from a cute 1st grader.
Can't help but add the happy face of this happy, berry-covered baby! He lights up our lives!
