April was an exciting month around our house! It seemed only fitting that this guy should get his first haircut before his first birthday. He was trying to figure out what he was about to get into!
Luckily, he's still willing to snuggle me! I know every mom says it, but where did the time go? How did he get so big so fast? I guess it doesn't matter. What matters is that we've really tried to enjoy his year as a baby and he has made that so fun for us. We can't imagine life without him and are grateful for what he adds to the family. Just look at the sparkle in those eyes!
We had reason to celebrate his first birthday a day late because amazing Grammie brought our cute cousins to visit for their spring break. What a fun time we had with them! It made his birthday even better!
(Of course, big brother gave the obligatory help to blow out the candle...)
Aww!
Our girls spent every waking (and sleeping) minute with their cousins. It was the best to see them together. They went to the Mall of America. We went to the Mormon Chorale Easter concert. We played and played and played. So fun!
It didn't even matter that we all packed into our tiny apartment. That may have made it even more fun.
Grammie always brings out the curlers. We will never forget what an amazing memory Grammie afforded us by making this week happen for the kids.
A pretty decent Easter picture!
Tad discovered it's pretty fun to read, but it's even better when you can rest the book on your brother's head. :)
One morning I woke up (way too early) to the sound of turkeys gobbling. I was convinced Logan had changed the ringtone on his phone and tried to wake him up. There was no way it was coming from actual turkeys. Come to find out, these guys were actually to blame.
We always love when the weather gets nice enough to be outside more often without having to bundle up! So, we took a little Sunday jaunt to the bird sanctuary to get our energy out.
And this dude is still nurturing his train obsession as much as ever.
