Still can't get over the weather here, especially in February. That's why so many of my pictures are of the outdoors. But, this picture is to prove my victory over yogurt. I tried it a few years ago, but now I have an Instant Pot that has a yogurt setting. Sooo much easier. And delicious!
Just a boy making a wish with a dandelion.
And a couple of lovebirds hanging out in the hammock... in February.
Carli had a fun time playing basketball over the winter. So did Janie, just can't find the pic...
These four have my heart!
We have been so lucky to have John as our neighbor. We think of him as our surrogate grandpa. Most afternoons you can find one or more of my children chatting it up with him on his porch.
We've found some beautiful hiking/exploring spots nearby. And many of them are filled with creatures we'd never imagined we'd be so close to. See ya later alligator!
Beautiful lemon tree with blossoms!
And flowering bushes!
The Olympics!! We LOVE them in this house. We made Americanized Korean food and celebrated with friends.
Dress like your future career day. A rock star and a librarian. (Janie even made her own microphone.)
This stray dog hangs out with the dogs next door and the kids have really become attached. It really bothered Carli how scared he was of people. She was working so hard to get him to come to her and you could tell he wanted to, but then he'd jump away at the last second. John watched that for a couple weeks and then bought her a box of dog treats to help in her attempts. Sure enough, she won his heart. And now he loves all the kids. And they love him. (He's still very wary of adults though.)
Milo's friend had a golf birthday party at the Clubhouse. What a fun little crew this is!
