January 2025

The new year brings new opportunities. My sweet Milo is turning 12 this year, which means he has received the Aaronic Priesthood and is able to pass the Sacrament at church each week. He has taken this duty very seriously and it is a joy for me to watch him each Sunday. I had to document this moment learning how to tie a tie from his dad.

Tad got to go to a fun bowling birthday party with his friends. He is the oldest in this group, but not by nearly as much as you might think by looking at the picture.

You know what they say about "red sky at morning"... We had quite the snowstorm for South Georgia! School was canceled for the week and we had a great time, despite the fact that we would have been spending several days at Great Wolf Lodge, had my professional conference not been canceled. It was a good excuse to stay at home and play in the snow though. And the alert from our city made me laugh. We just aren't prepared for snow and ice around these parts.

I enjoy the most beautiful views of the sky on my way to work each morning. A great way to start my day!
