Happy 9th birthday to Tad! He takes after his Grandma Jones and loves EVERYTHING lemon.
We changed things up a bit this year and had our Cowan family reunion during spring break. We also had a Southern get together in Gainesville, GA. It was nice to take a relatively short drive to see everyone. We hiked waterfalls, visited the Cabbage Patch Babyland Hospital (soo weird...), hiked Tallulah Gorge, swam, played pickleball and just loved spending time together. It was so good to see Lori back to full health after battling breast cancer the last year or so. We are so grateful for her and her health.
Back to school and the end of year celebrations have already begun. Janie was inducted into Beta club and Carli led the ceremony.
Carli was inducted into National Honor Society and earned a position in the leadership as Vice President.
Logan and Janie had a Carve Out a Niche booth at the Arts Fest this year. Janie helped sell and man the shop and she even made wooden tops to sell. The shop was very successful and they both enjoyed doing it. The rest of us came and did all the fun art activities and went home with free books from the Book Bus.
The ward youth had a silent auction fundraiser and talent show. Logan put together a music group and they had such a fun time practicing and performing.
