Biarritz (Atlantic coast), and Dax
It was the first hot day of our whole trip, and wouldn't you know it, we were at the beach! Seriously, our whole trip was that way and we feel incredibly grateful for how smoothly it all went.
This is another family Logan worked with on his mission. They invited us for dinner before we went to France. The day before we were going to their house we went to the grocery store for a couple of things and ran into Betty in the checkout line. She and Logan had a happy reunion. Dinner at their house was really nice, although they didn't speak English and I didn't speak French (and Logan was too busy talking to translate...). It was a traditional French meal with a couscous salad, pate`, duck breast and ice cream. Amazing! It was really fun to be around this family. They were so complementary of Logan and so hospitable to us. Another great experience.
