The summer began with this big girl getting a new bike and learning to ride without training wheels. She was a champ and figured it out after just a couple of tries.
Then, she decided her head of thick, heavy hair was just too hot, so the shearing began.
So cute!
The family reunion was a blast as usual. Our caravan of bikes, copilots, trailers and child-seats was quite a sight along that beautiful trail in the Pacific Northwest.
It came complete with a nice photo session with generous Connie.
The ride home could have been awful, had it not been for these wonderful kiddos. Here Janie is showing us how big the peanut M&M is. In the Vegas airport - at midnight. Long trip that went smoothly, but we were still so glad when we were home.
Big sister got a haircut, so little sis wanted one too - just not quite as dramatic.
