April 2019

April means spring break and strawberry picking! We had a nice, relaxing time at home for the break.

Yep, that little handprint is the mark of motherhood. *sigh*

Another one bites the dust. *double sigh*

Sweet sisters

I was going around the house cleaning up while the kids were at school and found these adorable sights. Milo and Carli are children after my own heart, making sure their dollies are taken care of before they go to school.

We took a trip with the Collins family to a wildlife reserve. It was fun to see the animals and especially cool to see the snowy egrets nesting.

Tadders turned 3! He sure is a fun part of our family and we love and adore him. He really wanted a cake with pink icing, so his wish is my command.

This cute girl also participated in math team. She watched her sister compete and realized how stiff the competition was, but the yearning for a trophy was ignited. I told her I thought if she practiced she'd have a chance at a trophy. She asked her teacher and her dad for extra practice sheets and practiced her math skills every night for the next few weeks. Sure enough, she carried her team to a 3rd place trophy. She was proud as punch and definitely deserved to be.

Hurricane Michael kept our family from visiting back in October, but luckily the weather couldn't keep them away in April. It was so fun to have cousins here to celebrate Easter. Aubrey got to join Milo at preschool for his party.

Grammie and her littles, reading together.

It was fun to explore Savannah and take the ferry across the river.

Yep, yet another sick one.

Janie entered a floral design competition and did a great job. It was fun learning a little more about floral design.

Carli and Chloe on field day

Milo was invited to a fun circus birthday party.
