February 2020

Look at that hair! Carli decided it was time for a change and went for a haircut.

Pretty girl!

I got these cute decorations to put in my mudroom, but immediately got feedback like, "Is that an announcement??" NO, no it is not. It's just the way the sign came.

Janie had a blast playing basketball this season.

We too a walk around campus and the funny little group of ducks was really hoping we had something good to give them. We didn't, but they followed us around anyway.

Preschool Valentine party! Tad was convinced it was just for him and was so excited about it.

This was my cute Valentine for most of the day.

Milo went to Grant's bowling birthday party.

When Mom says "Clean up time" the kids take this pose.

Play dough time

The kids had winter break and had been begging for a sleepover together for awhile. So we threw a bunch of mattresses in the playroom and set up our old (small) tv in there so they could watch a movie and have popcorn and smoothies. My favorite part was hearing them have a goodnight prayer together before they went to sleep.

James Dean, the author of Pete the Cat, who lives here, visited our library. The kids had a fun time watching him paint and talking to him was definitely worth the wait. He thought the kids were hilarious and could totally see Milo becoming an engineer like he says he wants to be when he grows up. (He was an electrical engineer before he became an artist/author.)

February was a very, VERY wet month.

Carli decided she wanted her hair even shorter, so mother obliged and did it herself.

It's pretty fun having this little sidekick with me all the time. He's going to be in preschool next year and I'm pretty sure I'm going to miss him. Most of the time...

Silly string at preschool.

You know it's going to be a fun weekend when it starts like this... That's most of the giant bowl of full fat yogurt I made on the floor. Ugh...

Tad's cute friend's birthday is on leap day. She actually got to celebrate it on the 29th this year!
