September 2019

September brought yet another hurricane to our area. It is always so humbling to watch the radar and know that monster is hovering right off the coast and we just had a bit of a breezy day. The kids and Logan had school cancelled because you just never know with these things.

My friends and I had been wanting to have a night away, but Dorian changed our plans a bit. We made it a dinner and shopping night. We couldn't help wondering if Logan needed a new shirt... :)

We had a crafting playgroup and made these cute wreaths together. It was fun to see how everyone's looked different. It inspired me to make this fun earring holder.

We took a little family trip to Savannah and visited a few of the museums there. The kids loved the railroad museum, especially trying out the handcar.

The kids weren't the only ones that really enjoyed the Children's Museum...

This excited guy earned enough "Milo Moolah" to get a family bowling night. It was a first for him and a first in a very long time for the girls.

"Look, I maked the letter X!!"

We sure love the Peanut Festival! Milo got second in the tractor race this year and was very excited about his trophy.

Carli is always looking for babies to snuggle.

Janie's artwork was chosen to be displayed at the art museum. And her lips were a work of art after eating a ring pop.

What?!? Why in September?!?

There's no sweeter scene than this at the end of the day.

Preschool, learning about the letter E for elephant. And what does and elephant say? Apparently "Roll Tide!!!"

Some kids are excited about circle time, and others are too cool for school.
