This guy was thrilled to see in the cockpit on our way out to Auntie's wedding in Oregon.
These goofballs thought it would be a funny joke to grow mustaches for the bride's wedding gift. I think the real gift was that they shaved before the ceremony...
Oregon really is the best place to get married in the summer. These kids loved every minute outside.
Look at all those little girls adoring their aunt!
Handsome boys all ready for the wedding.
Waiting for the bride and groom can get exhausting, but it makes for some cute pictures.
What a beautiful bride and junior bridesmaid!
So much pink!
The trip home is never quite as exciting as it is on the way to vacation, but we found some ways to entertain ourselves. We ended up staying an extra day because we're fairly sure Milo had a concussion from a collision with his cousin. We were glad for an extra day to rest before flying back home.
We were excited to be home. In the heat we headed to Splash most days. The kids and I loved it there, and Dad was able to get in on the action several times too.
These two and their selfies...
Just a couple of cool guys hanging out watching the World Cup.
If you can believe it, our awesome garden produced a pumpkin. Janie was quite proud of the seed she planted. Unfortunately, pumpkins can't really withstand the heat of the summer here, so we picked it before it went bad. But, what do you do with a pumpkin in June?? We admired it on our counter for a month, that's what we did.
One of my favorite times of the day.
Logan was asked to be in charge of the music for the Trek. He played the fiddle mostly, and really enjoyed the time there. He was especially impressed by the time, resources, effort and love that went into the preparations for this camp. This picture is of the model of the Nauvoo temple built to be part of the reenactment of the Pioneer Trek. I have wonderful memories of the Trek I went on as a teenager and hope to experience this with our kids as they get older.
