April 2022

 6?! Already!?

I love this time of year watching my garden grow. There's something so magical about watch seeds sprout and blossoms turn into fruit.

Tadders had a carnival-themed birthday party, mostly planned by Janie. He had a fun time with his friends.

He said he wanted a chocolate chip cookie cake. Not sure if this fit the bill, but it was delicious, so I think it made up for it.

Janie and I had the opportunity to volunteer with Helping Hands on a tornado clean up job. It was humbling and sobering to see nature's power like this.

Dad took the kids on a Sunday geocache.

Carli won the VFW writing competition and got two decent-sized checks! Such a smart girl.

Love notes from Tad to his babysitting sisters. These words will go down in history in our family.

Happy Easter!

We spent a couple of days in Columbia to go to the temple. We visited the zoo for the first time there. And you can't forget Congaree.

More growth on the sugar snap peas.

Aww, love these sweet church friends.

Strawberry picking is one of our favorite seasons.

And we got a haul this time around, whoowhee.

Freezer jam for days.

Milo and Dad's pinewood derby plans.

Tad getting his feelings out on paper.

A day at the park, sticking around Dad on the bench.
