Waiting in line for the hayride at the First Friday Christmas celebration. We love kicking off December with this tradition. Actually, making and keeping our tradition-a-day schedule is a special part of our Christmas season.
Janie's band concert.
Little brother saved the day when Carli looked all over for her chorus folder and he came up big by finding it in the car.
All my classes mad gingerbread cookies. Some of them turned out super cute. Some of them turned out more like the meme below.
A family outing to the disc golf course.
Watching a friend in her performance in Scrooge.
Milo participated in the 4th and 5th grade chorus this fall and had a great time performing in the concert. He played a piano solo and went to perform at the airport. https://youtu.be/fLsh3Z0L3W4
Carli's chorus concert was superb! Sadly, we were a little late and the family had to split up to find seats. The boys and I were stuck on a bench on the very back row and it wasn't ideal.
Just had to document this appreciation card from a student I never would have expected it from.
Talking to Santa at the ward Christmas party.
Family movie night!
Didn't want to forget this cute memory.
She's officially a driver now! She is looking forward to the freedom this will mean for her, but she's not so sure about our choice of vehicle for her. She's going to have to drive the little stick shift Kia.
Neighbor treats.
Logan comes up with the sweetest gifts for the girls at Christmas time.
Guido Gardens.
Christmas Eve dinner with friends. It was very special to reenact the nativity with them. And you can't forget the Buche du Noel.
Christmas morning!
I love nothing more than to see my kids and their dad working together on a project. And then going kayaking in the warm weather.
The boys are gaining an appreciation for watching football with their dad too.
My good friend invited us over for an oyster boil on New Year's Eve. We had a great time learning to shuck oysters (Milo especially liked that part, although he wasn't too keen on eating them), spending time with their family and Carli liked snuggling the dog.
