April 2023

It was so fun to get a text from my friend, Tiffiny, with these photos of Dad performing with his men's choir. She is interviewing for a job there and just happened to attend this concert and connect with Dad.

Another tooth for the tooth fairy.

It's always a treat when Grammie and Papa come to town! We enjoyed homemade fudgesicles and walks around the neighborhood.

We celebrated Tad's birthday with a strawberry cake.

Spring break is best enjoyed at the beach.

When a student steals popsicles from the freezer in your classroom and tells you he "brought it from home", you take a picture, email it to his mom and ask if she has those exact same popsicles just to verify his story. (Credit where it's due, this idea came from my brilliant art teacher friend who has all the best ideas.)

Said art teacher friend at her art show during the First Friday Arts Fest.

It was fun gallivanting around downtown with these two. We found a wide variety of ways to keep ourselves entertained that night.

Nope, she's not a fighter. The doctor was pretty sure she just got a bug bite in the wrong sensitive spot near her eye. Never seen anything like it though, since her eye swelled completely shut for a couple of days. (She wouldn't let me post the worst of the pictures.) Mom was found to be at fault for the bite and the ensuing missed school, pain and suffering because it occurred during a forced walk home from the park.

Playing in the neighborhood.

How is it that they all fall out at the same time?

The cute "Kisssing Booth" the young women made for the Standards Night Carnival. (The 3 S's had a purpose but...)

The cute young women dancing their hearts out to Just Dance.

Carli debuted in her first play "Oz". She played the wicked witch and had a fantastic evil laugh. She had a lot of fun and we loved watching her.

This sweet friend is about to move across the country and I'm so sad to see her go. She was so sweet to treat me to a weekend away to Jekyll Island. We had a great, relaxing time in such a calm, beautiful setting.
