October 2023

Logan's Etsy business is still going strong. It was fun for him to discover that his product made the front cover of a travel magazine. I think his spurtle MADE the picture. (His is the dark wood utensil in the bottom right corner.)

We have the prettiest backyard.

My boys enjoying their snow cones at the First Friday.

Another FCCLA trip.

So proud of Janie! She went out of her comfort zone and competed in a public speaking event at the state fair. She got second place! So talented. https://youtu.be/-3TuSPHCHy8

Jason had a couple of work engagements on the East Coast and was able to come through our neck of the woods with his family. It was so fun to have them stay with us for a little while. We showed them around and then we followed them down to Orlando to go to Universal Studios. (One of the best parts of Universal was Olivander's Wand Shop. https://youtu.be/UHh8SQpidw8) We had a great time and our fall break couldn't have been better!

The county fair is never a disappointment around here. I think this performer convinced Milo he'd like to be a puppeteer when he grows up. The lasso performer was also there...

Happy Halloween!

For Red Ribbon week we have dress up days at school. This sweet student of mine wanted to dress alike on the "dress like your favorite teacher" day. That sure warmed my heart.

Janie played in the band for the elementary school pumpkin parade. It's one of my favorite local traditions. The boys walked with their classes in it as well.
