When you're standing at the copier at work and realize your own child has been on the wall in front of you all these years...
Father son baseball outing.
My classes celebrate Pi Day this year by making pie food trucks and felt pizzas that were displayed in the media center.
Oh happy day! This was a much longer process than I anticipated, but I'm glad I did it.
How he fits everything in the little car to do his projects will never make sense to me. It's some kind of magic. (Except for the time he broke the windshield in my van with a 12' post...)
Music appreciation month!
Speaking of music appreciation, Carli and her friend, Alicia, performed "It's Raining Men" in the annual Dinner Theater fundraiser and ended the night by bringing the house down. It was so fun to watch and the video doesn't even come close to the real thing. https://youtu.be/_vqnGfVlAOY
A long awaited date night at the Jim Gaffigan show. This was Logan's Christmas present and we looked forward to it for months. A few days before we went we found out our good friends also had tickets, so we met up for dinner together and ended the night feeling seen through Gaffigan's family humor about teenage daughters.
Milo participated in the county track meet. He really loves speed competitions of any variety and was happy to be part of this one.
FCCLA State Conference
40 came just like any ordinary day. Somehow it hit me a little hard and was not as much of a celebration as I might have expected. But my sweet family and friends made it better.
Milo's math competition. Not unexpectedly, he came out on top with a 1st place in the individual competition and 3rd in the team. Sooo smart.
Yet another missing tooth.
A fun color wheel activity at school.
Happy Easter from the bishopric!
It's always meaningful and fun to talk with family on FaceTime. It's been especially meaningful the last little while since Lori was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been keeping us all up to date on her treatments and condition. We are so grateful she has been doing so well and feeling strong through her care.
